With the new anime season comes more hits! But not just sequels to recent hits pepper this season, but also the sequel series to one of the biggest anime of all time, Naruto! His son Boruto has had a mixed start for some people, but upon further analysis, I believe his initial faults are opportunities for the anime to shine. Find out why after the jump!
It's pretty common in the world of anime critique to see shows that are obviously bottom of the barrel. Chivalry of a Failed Knight probably had some of the worst and most bleak first two episodes I had seen. But the weird part is that, it actually got better after that. With a new Anime season comes new heavy-hitters and continuations. Also what comes with it is the trademark totally-not-porn show that sneaks its way into the season. Fortunately "Keijo!!!!!!!!" is a stupid, honest, and surprisingly enjoyable not-porn show with a good deal of action and laughs. More after the jump.
Grimgar is not very good. It lacks a very coherent narrative, its watercolor backgrounds can be distracting, and its only plot twist is one that is milked for all it's worth. But if that's the case, why do I love it? Read more after the jump.
